Ascent

Simplonpass – From the starting point on the Simplon Pass at 2005 m, walk west across the flats past the hamlet of Hopsche. At about 2200 m, turn right and walk northwest, passing points 2213 and 2253 on Rossboden. Cross over the ramp from Gälmji up to the pass (point 2373). The summit is reached via the western ridge.
